Classic West Village Engagement Photos
Sam and Todd chose one of my favorite spots for their West Village engagement photos. I love the quaint cobblestone streets and the beautiful historic townhomes that line the west side. There are so many incredible restaurants and shopping here. It’s usually pretty quiet any day of the week, making it one of the most desired neighborhoods of Manhattan to live in.
We walked all around the area stopping at every cute corner. It is a picturesque area for taking photos. Even in the middle of the street with the tree-lined areas. We even hailed a cab to use as a prop! Sam and Todd were so great at having their photos taken. They have a very natural calm energy about them, and their love and affection for each other show.
Style
Sam and Todd wore complimentary outfits. Sam wore these incredible Stuart Weitzman grey boots that went up to her knees. Both of them wore a black classic NY trench coat. I loved the white long-sleeved dress with the ruffled cuffs that Sam wore.
West Side
The Hudson River’s breezy views and the pathway leading to Christopher Street Pier are always nice spots for engagement photos. We went all the way around to have different vantage points for their engagement photos. The industrial feel, with the park’s greenery and the river views, made for nice photos too!
Experience
Being from New York and born and raised in West Village, I know a lot of secret spots to take pictures in and around the area. West Village extends from Washington Square Park, all the way to the West Side Highway, and up towards the Meatpacking District, down to Tribeca.
