Cipriani Wedding in New York City

The Cipriani Experience
Contents
This couple wanted to have it all: the glamour, special traditions, elegant atmosphere, and space to celebrate with all of their friends and family by their side. They knew Cipriani Wall Street could deliver, and they were right – what an incredible wedding day!
After getting ready, the couple decided to do an intimate first look. The groom was amazed when he saw his radiant bride walk around the corner, and the joy on their faces says it all. This was a unique way to do a first look. She wore a gorgeous red dress for the traditional tea ceremony, so he would still be surprised when he saw her walk down the aisle in her white wedding dress later on. All of her bridesmaids attended the tea ceremony in complementary ivory dresses.
Once inside the venue, the grand ceilings and towering columns set the tone for this spectacular ceremony and reception. The lighting was flawless, and pastel floral archways and stunning hanging arrangements added such a delicate touch.
After exchanging heartfelt “I do’s,” they enjoyed a wonderful dinner and danced the night away on a dancefloor surrounded by sparklers! Congratulations to the happy couple!
About the venues
The Cipriani company started as a small but exceptional bar in Venice. Cipriani was set on outstanding service, and his company quickly expanded to grander venues. Now, Cipriani includes four iconic locations in New York City: Cipriani Wall Street. Cipriani 42nd, Cipriani Broadway, and the new Cipriani South Street – which I can’t wait to visit and photograph!
Furthermore, each venue is distinctly historic. For instance, Cipriani Wall Street boasts Greek Revival architecture and originally served as the New York Merchants Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, and the United States Customs. Although it served governmental purposes, the 70-foot ceilings and Wedgewood dome make it an extraordinary wedding venue with plenty of flexible space to create the grandest wedding designs.
For a completely different, yet equally sophisticated, atmosphere, Cipriani 42nd Street is located in Manhattan and showcases Italian Renaissance architecture. Like all Cipriani venues, the one on 42nd Street also includes impeccable service and chef-inspired cuisine. Make sure to check out their photos and floorplans to get the full effect!
For a true NYC experience, visit their Broadway location, which features intricate murals painted by the famous Ezra Winter. Every time I look up at the ornate artwork, I can’t help but wonder how the great painter accomplished it all!
Although I haven’t yet been to their newest location – Cipriani South Street – I’ve only heard great things. This venue is unique in that it offers several spaces, such as an arrival foyer, pre-function rooms perfect for cocktail hour, and the Great Hall which can accommodate up to 800 seated guests! You won’t find many other venues that can comfortably host such a large guest count. The building previously served as the Battery Maritime Building, and it beautifully displays distinctive Beaux-Arts architecture.
Don’t forget to capture the moment
Whichever Cipriani venue you choose for your wedding day, their experienced team always goes above and beyond to make each couple’s experience unique and unforgettable. While you’re relishing in the moment with the one you love and celebrating with guests, I would love to be there to document it all – from donning your wedding dress to the epic sendoff. Your story is worth preserving!
To begin with, a Cipriani Wedding is one of a kind with a wow factor that every couple and event deserves to have. Undoubtedly, their venue space includes 70-foot-high ceilings. The door greeter knows you by name the minute you walk in. Significantly, the food is delicious so your guests will leave impressed! In summary, having a Cipriani Wedding is unforgettable. The attention to detail they have is remarkable as a luxury wedding venue.
