Weylin Wedding in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Spectacular wedding at the historic Weylin Building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
One of my favorite parts of being a Brooklyn Wedding Photographer is being near the best venues. The Weylin is a very historic building, built in 1875, originally the Williamsburg Savings Bank. I’ve always been in awe of this incredible space, and I’m so happy it was turned into an event center. I love the Williamsburg, Brooklyn neighborhood so much! The detailing on the ceiling is so incredibly breathtaking! I feel like I’m transported back in time every time I visit the Weylin.
The Weylin Venue
The Weylin is the perfect space for a wedding or event. You can host a seated dinner on the main floor for up to 450 guests, with entertainment. Additionally, they have a lower level where you can hold your reception for dancing. The space reminds me of a prohibition-era-style room with ornate brass details and seating. I love how most of the elements of the historic buildings have been fully restored. You can check out more information about the spaces here.
Weddings at the Weylin
This wedding last summer was our first big Weylin Wedding! Happens to be one of our favorites. The couple’s energy and love for each other really shone through every moment and are reflected in all of their images. Their family bond was the highlight of the ceremony. The unique setting for the couple’s ceremony was a circular arrangement of seats, so you could view it from all sides. The couple’s vows echoed through the whole building.
