Winter Wedding at Liberty Warehouse

A Liberty Warehouse wedding in New York has a certain magic to it. The exposed brick, the sweeping waterfront views, the Manhattan skyline standing quietly in the background. It’s dramatic without being showy, historic yet alive. And in February, when winter usually keeps the city muted and cold, this wedding somehow felt warm from start to finish.

But this day wasn’t just special because of the venue. It was special because of who was getting married.

When a Wedding Vendor Becomes a Friend

In the wedding industry, you meet a lot of talented people. Planners, florists, musicians. Everyone is moving together inside this beautiful, chaotic machine. But every once in a while, someone crosses from colleague to friend.

That was Jenna.

I met her seven years ago at the Four Seasons Hotel, where she was leading the Jenna Wynne Band with Hank Lane Music. From the first downbeat, I was hooked. Yes, her voice was unreal. Powerful, soulful, and somehow intimate even in a ballroom. But it was her presence that stayed with me. Jenna doesn’t just perform. She reads a room, pulls people in, and brings joy.

We became fast friends that night. Two people who understood both the magic and the marathon of creating unforgettable wedding days.

So when she called to tell me she was engaged, I screamed. Loudly. There was never another option. I had to photograph her wedding at the Liberty Warehouse.

Jenna and Conor’s Journey to the Aisle

I met Conor during their engagement session in Long Beach, and everything immediately made sense. He has this grounded, calm energy. A steady harbor to Jenna’s brilliant storm. The way he looked at her when she spoke, with total support and quiet amusement, told their entire story.

And honestly, photographing the two of them felt effortless. They radiated genuine happiness. The kind that doesn’t need direction. The camera loved them because they were simply themselves

A Winter Wedding That Defied the Season

Their Liberty Warehouse wedding took place in February. The sky should have been gray. The wind is sharp. Instead, the day gave us a crisp chill and soft, forgiving light that wrapped around everything.

We spent time on the pier with the Manhattan skyline as our witness. Taking photo after photo, never once rushing inside for warmth. Because somehow, the cold never touched us.

They had a big, boisterous wedding party. A reflection of the lives they’ve built and the people they’ve loved along the way. And yet, even surrounded by laughter and movement, Jenna and Conor always found each other. A quiet hand squeeze. A forehead resting on a shoulder.

Those are the moments I chase. And they were everywhere.

Music, Movement, and a Packed Dance Floor at Liberty Warehouse

As a bandleader herself, Jenna understands better than anyone how much music shapes a wedding day. For her own ceremony, first dance, and party, she chose Bobby Attiko. And it was perfection.

From the moment the reception began, the Liberty Warehouse wedding dance floor was full. A wall of sound. Endless movement. Smiles under string lights, brick walls echoing with laughter and music. The kind of energy that never dips, only builds.

The Moment I’ll Never Forget

My favorite moment didn’t happen on a stage or during the first dance.

Mid-reception, Jenna stepped away from singing along with the band. She found Conor in the middle of the crowd at their Liberty Warehouse wedding. And they just danced.

Not for the camera. Not for their guests. Just the two of them. Jenna, in her beautiful wedding dress. Conor, her husband. Lost in their own private world inside a very public, very epic party.

I clicked the shutter, knowing that the image held the entire day. The professional who knows how to throw an unforgettable celebration. And the heart of that celebration, which was simply the love between them.

A Full-Circle Liberty Warehouse Wedding in New York

I wish the night had never ended. From first look to last call, it was a blast. But more than that, it was a full circle.

To watch someone who spends her life creating unforgettable nights for others finally have her own. To document not just the details, but the soul of a celebration, she understands so deeply. That was an honor I’ll always carry.

Jenna and Conor’s Liberty Warehouse wedding in New York wasn’t just a party. It was a love song. And this time, the master musician got to be the melody.
