The William Vale is easily one of the most luxurious and high-end Brooklyn Wedding Venues throughout the entire borough.
As a Brooklyn Wedding Photographer and a resident of Williamsburg for the past eight years, I have walked by The William Vale a countless amount of times. I always admired the beautiful exterior that The William Vale showcases to its onlookers. Williamsburg is my home!!! Also, this borough is close to my heart 🙂 Thus, I speak about The William Vale out of experience.
Why do I give this full-scale hotel in the heart of Williamsburg such a nostalgic review? (Drumroll Please!) With a vast selection of indoor and outdoor spaces…The William Vale allows their wedding couples to choose a space that fits their vision. The neighborhood surrounding The William Vale is rich with culture, street art, top of the line restaurants, and shopping galore. When it comes to Brooklyn Wedding Venues, The William Vale is the place to get married! Even though I have personally chosen to get married (my wedding is this upcoming August) in Manhattan, I would have chosen The William Vale if I was to get married in Brooklyn.
So, let’s delve a little deeper into why this venue is the absolute best-est, coolest, and most awesome-st hotel.
The William Vale: Neighborhood
If you haven’t been to Williamsburg yet, you need to take a trip into this cultural mecca as soon as possible. The entire Brooklyn neighborhood represents the millennial movement while preserving its historical past (trust me, you’ll understand the second you go explore).
With thousands of incredible restaurants ranging from gastro pubs, to authentic Greek food, to fresh omakase sushi – your taste buds will be in heaven (and I’m talking about heaven for all religions).
On top of the delicious food surrounding The William Vale, you’ll have the option to explore the neighborhood’s local street art. Artists from all over the word come to Williamsburg to paint murals throughout this artistic hub (some friends of mine have contributed to this too). The vibrant colors, social messages, metaphorical designs, unique approaches, and overall aesthetic will have you saying, “The MET who?”
Being a Brooklyn Wedding Photographer means that I know the best locations (and murals) at which to shoot. My goal is to provide my clients with the absolute best documentary-style photography while keeping that classic feel (which will always be in style.)
My knowledge of the Brooklyn backdrops and scenery will allow me to provide you the best wedding photography…showcasing the genuine love between you and your significant other.
The William Vale: The Food
If incredible NYC Wedding Catering is something you’re looking for then you’re in for a treat. I am the definition of a foodie. No seriously, I LOVE GOOD FOOD! This is why I adore the culinary creations constructed within the kitchens of The William Vale. I wanted to know why the food tastes so amazing, so I did a little bit of research on the NYC Wedding Catering within this NYC boutique hotel.
The answer to the mysterious and incredible culinary deliciousness…the award-winning Michelin-star chef by the name of Andrew Carmellini. Andrew has developed and created the culinary concepts that The William Vale utilizes for all their NYC Wedding Catering needs. As a chef who has trained in Italy and France, Andrew has brought his luxurious culinary experiences to New York City. Andrew is known for the prestigious Locanda Verde in Robert De Niro’s Greenwich Hotel, The Dutch in SoHo, Lafayette in NoHo, Bar Primi, and Little Park/Evening Bar at The Smyth. Andrew inspires and creates all the decadent dishes at The William Vale.
The William Vale: Event Spaces
The absolute best part of having your wedding at The William Vale is the vast amount of Event Spaces from which you’ll have to choose.
This Brooklyn Wedding Venue is most famous for their Vale Ballroom and their Foyer. Make sure when you check out these event spaces you look for the distinguished Italian marble staircases inside the Foyer (this is my favorite!). Also look for the 23’ft high grand ceilings in the Vale Ballroom…it’ll have you wanting to do a Cinderella inspired photo-shoot. These features will have you wanting to reserve one, or both, of these spaces immediately.
Looking for an outdoor space? Well, you’re in for a treat. The Westlight Rooftop at The William Vale is an indoor/outdoor cocktail bar on the 22nd floor of this hotel. The panoramic views of Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan are breathtaking. The indoor lounge has floor to ceiling windows with a private wrap-around balcony.
If you want something a little closer to the ground, check out the famous Vale Terrace. This terrace is over 5,000 sq. ft. with an arbored pergola. Basically, you and your guests will never run out of space to dance the night away. This space is complimented with a 60-ft. long hotel Swimming Pool, surrounded by cabanas. As one of the largest pools in all of NYC, your guests will be talking about this space for years. So all in all, the entire space has sky-line views and is surrounded with beautiful greenery.
I hope you get the chance to check out this absolutely breathtaking and luxurious Brooklyn Wedding Venue. As a Brooklyn Wedding Photographer, I hope you’ll consider me…Susan Shek Photography.
