620 Loft and Garden is one of my favorite rooftop wedding venues in New York City. The venue has it all! It is a raw, blank canvas on the inside, and the outdoor garden feels like a green dreamland in the middle of the city. The venue faces the iconic St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Saks Fifth Avenue. The interior windows face the street of Radio City Music Hall showcase the famous Rockefeller Rink and Christmas tree. Surrounded by so many beautiful and beloved NYC landmarks, who wouldn’t want to have a 620 Loft and Garden Wedding?! I love it so much I had my own wedding at this venue, so it is very near and dear to my heart. I can attest from both a bride’s and wedding photographer’s perspective that this venue lives up to the hype!
I knew from the minute I met Alex and Kyla we had an instant connection. Since we had such a unique bond, I felt all the more compelled to authentically document every important piece of their wedding day. As with all my couples, I want to provide photos that allow them to relive that magical day over and over again. Alex and Kyla’s 620 Loft and Garden wedding was an NYC destination wedding, so planning from afar was not an easy task. To make the process fun and flawless, they chose Leah of Color Pop Events to coordinate everything they needed to make their vision come to life with the right vendors. As usual, Leah went above and beyond!
620 Loft and Garden Wedding Décor
Fleurissimo adorned the venue with the most beautiful flowers. They were everything Kyla and Alex had hoped for. The florals included large, lush greenery and white flowers with all types of garden roses and blooms. Fleurissimo also created a gorgeous giant flower wall, which was a wonderful backdrop for the delicious vanilla wedding cake designed by Nine Cakes!
Kyla and Alex wanted to make sure all of their guests — including their 18 wedding party members — all felt equally part of the wedding. Two long tables allowed everyone to sit close to each other outside in the garden for a dining experience under the stars! The delicious food was catered by Ryan Brown Catering who never disappoints.
After enjoying dinner and sharing laughs and tears over speeches, the sun went down, and the music started to play. All the guests showed off their best moves under the tent with a DJ from Beat Train Productions. The night went on until a little after 11. Then, everyone took the celebration over to an after-party location for one unforgettable evening!
